Made by Imada Shuzo, Hiroshima Prefecture. A rather fragrant junmai ginjo, bottled immediately without charcoal filtering. The fine-lined flavor is as bold as the fragrance, with a soft-edged fullness overall. The master brewer at Imada Shuzo is Imada Miho, daughter to the brewery's president. She is working intensely hard to do what few women have ever had a chance to do in Japan -- take over a sake brewery.
